| Message : | Depois de muitas vizitas ao Algarve este aldeamento não me deixa grandes saudades. Na minha opinião não vale o valor pedido diariamente, em primeiro lugar a limpeza so apartamento momeadamente o W.C. sujo e ferrogento, em segundo lugar uma cozinha mal equipada e suja. O resto do apartamento não seria de esperar um grande luxo mas tão pouco seria de esperar uns móveis tão espartanos e mal tratados. Quero referir também que os funcionários não reasciram com a educação esperada após a chamada de atenção em relação á limpeza.
Por este motivo não posso dar uma nota possitiva. |

| Message : | Just spent a week here and what can I say.....superb. Staff are all friendly, basic but clean apartments, Alfie is great with the kids and the location is quiet but enough bars etc for a good holiday. Will be booking again for next year. |

| Message : | Had a lovely holiday in vale de carros. Staff very nice and helpful. its not 5 star but then you are not paying for 5 star. apartments were clean but basic. I liked the quiet location. we were beside the small pool which was great - no problem with sun beds. Not a huge amount of restaurants nearby but enough. Bar closes at 12 which I thought was good for a family complex. Entertainment a bit hit and miss and the bar area is very small. |

| Message : | We spent over an hour with a travel agent discussing various resorts and accommodation, I have to say it was well worth the time, as we chose "Vale de Carros", we couldn't have asked for a better place, it was quiet (probably too quiet for party animals) and very relaxing, nothing was too much effort for the staff who were very friendly. Alfredo worked very hard to keep us all entertained in the evenings with various activities. The apartments themselves are basic but were clean and tidy. Maids cleaned most days. Local restaurants weren't that far away and are within easy walking distance, there is also a chinese and italian available for those less adventurous. We are definitely going back, it's just trying to get the time off work. Thank-you again for a wonderful holiday |

| Message : | Okay, the resort is on the quiet side,and Yes Ruth, there was a large dead rat and several dead small birds kicking around the place!!! Alfredo was great with the kids, he did his best with the very poor equipment that he had to hand at the time. I did expect a Thomas Cook rep to be on the coach at both arriving and departing the resort, this failure is not very good customer service...The Thomas Cook rep when she could be bothered showing her face, was rude, arrogant and uncaring, as for the Vale de Carros staff, i can not praise them enough, they were hard working friendly, helpful and happy. The apartments are very basic, but clean and usable, also i found it deplorable that one had to hire a toaster, electric kettle iron etc, as these items are the norm in most self catering apartments. All in all the Apartments were just fine, i would probably go back, as we met some wonderful people (Al Murry) and i quote "A fruit based drink for the ladies" and several other people from around the UK, but mostly from the North of England, who were a pleasure to be with, i believe, that if you meat nice people, you have a better holiday,

And for the money we have paid I can't complain. So, I leave a note: just stay home. Don't bother!!! Gostei muito de estar em Vale de Carros! | Message : | Ignore the bloke from Preston as I am just back from Vale De Carros and it was brilliant. Carlos not there though now and Alfredo has taken over but a great time. If you want a fun, quiet, friendly holiday in a clean and personal resort then you have nothing to lose. |

The guy from Preston is clueless. We have travelled far & wide, but for the money, how can you complain?? Ignore him. |

You you must of known Vale De Carros wasnt a "4 or 5 star" hotel, so why did you book it in the first place? |

I would class this as the council estate of portugal!If a 3rd rate entertainer and a 3rd rate resort floats your boat then your standards are as bad as this holiday ! |
